Getting There

    If you have access to a car, drive from Gishwati-Mukura National Park towards Kibuye. Start by exiting the park and head southwest on the main road towards the town of Kibuye. The journey is approximately 30 kilometers and should take around 45 minutes. Once you enter Kibuye, look for signs directing you to the Museum of Environment. Nature Travel Experts is located on the street near the museum. Parking may be available near the museum.

  • Public Transportation (Taxi-Brousse)

    To use public transportation, you can take a taxi-brousse (shared minibus) from Gishwati-Mukura National Park to Kibuye. Head to the nearest taxi-brousse station, which can usually be found in nearby towns. Inform the driver that you are heading to Kibuye. The fare will typically be around 1,000 RWF (Rwandan Francs). Upon reaching Kibuye, you can ask the driver or locals for directions to the Museum of Environment. Nature Travel Experts is located on the street near the museum.
