Walking
From the center of Karongi, head south on Avenue du Lac towards the main road. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with the road to Nyanza. Turn left onto the Nyanza road and follow it for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by local shops and the scenic views of Lake Kivu along the way. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Nyanza. Once you arrive in Nyanza, look for 'Destination Nyanza' on your right side at coordinates 2.354938, 29.750169.

If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Karongi. Start from the main square and head south towards Avenue du Lac. Cycle straight for about 1 kilometer, then turn left onto the Nyanza road. The route is mostly flat and offers beautiful views of the lake.
