Walking
From the center of Karongi, start at the main market square where you can find local shops and eateries. Head northeast on Avenue de la Paix. Continue on this road for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the main road connecting to Kigali. You will pass by several small shops and local vendors. Once you reach the main road (Route Nationale 1), turn left and follow the road until you see the sign for the bus stop heading to Kigali. The bus ride will take about 2-3 hours, and buses are frequent. After arriving in Kigali, get off at the Nyabugogo bus terminal.

Public Transport
From your location in Karongi, walk to the nearest bus station. Take a 'matatu' or a shared taxi heading to Kigali, which is a common mode of transport. The journey will take around 2-3 hours. Once you arrive at Nyabugogo bus terminal in Kigali, you can easily find a moto-taxi (motorcycle taxi) to take you directly to Kigali City Tower (Sagastein). Let the driver know you are heading to Kigali City Tower, and they will take you there.
