From the center of Vieux Fort, head towards the main road, George Odlum Highway. Walk south for about 15 minutes until you reach the junction with the road leading up to the volcano. As you ascend, the path will become steeper and more rugged, but keep following the trail marked for La Soufrière. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.

From Vieux Fort, find a local minibus that is heading towards Soufrière. The minibus station is located near the market. Board the minibus and inform the driver that you want to go to La Soufrière. The ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the nearest drop-off point, you will have to walk the remaining distance. Follow the signs pointing towards the volcano, which is about a 20-minute walk from the drop-off point. Be cautious of the terrain as it can be uneven.
