Walking
From the main village of Mayreau, head east towards the beach. You will see a path that leads up a small hill. Follow this path uphill. As you walk, enjoy the view of the surrounding sea. Continue walking straight until you reach a fork in the path. Take the left path, which will lead you further uphill. Keep following the trail as it winds its way up the hill. You will pass by some local houses and small gardens. Eventually, the path will open up to a viewpoint area overlooking the water. From there, you will see Fort Hamilton in the distance. Continue along the path until you reach the entrance of Fort Hamilton, which is marked by a sign.

Hiking
Start your journey from the Mayreau Catholic Church located in the village center. From the church, take the road heading towards the eastern side of the island. Walk along this road for about 10 minutes, keeping an eye out for a sign that indicates the trail to Fort Hamilton. The trail is marked with small stones and will lead you through some lush greenery. Stay on the well-trodden path; it will lead you to the top of a hill. Once at the top, you will arrive at Fort Hamilton, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding waters and islands.
