Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Prophet's Mosque (Al-Masjid an-Nabawi), exit the mosque and head northeast on King Abdulaziz Street. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Al-Mu'adhdhin Street. Turn left onto Al-Mu'adhdhin Street and walk for another 1 kilometer. As you approach Uhud Mountain, you will see it on your right. The mountain is a prominent landmark, so you should have no trouble spotting it.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the Prophet's Mosque, walk to the nearest bus stop located on King Abdulaziz Street. Board any bus heading towards Al-Uhud. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Inform the bus driver you are going to Uhud Mountain, and they will drop you off at the closest stop. Once you get off, the mountain will be in sight, and you can walk the remaining distance (around 500 meters) towards the mountain.
