From the center of Medina, head towards the Avenue Moussa Tavele. Walk straight along this avenue until you reach the intersection with Avenue Cheikh Anta Diop. Turn left onto Avenue Cheikh Anta Diop and continue walking for about 10 minutes. You will see the Place du Souvenir Africain on your right, just past the intersection with Rue de la République. This area is well-marked, and the monument is hard to miss.
