Start your journey at the central market in Thiès, known as Marché de Thiès. From the market, head south on Rue de la République until you reach the intersection with Avenue Malick Sy. Turn left onto Avenue Malick Sy and continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the bus station called Gare routière de Thiès. Here, you can catch a bus heading to Dakar. Make sure to ask for one that goes to the Dakar-Plateau area, which is closest to the museum.

Take the bus from Gare routière de Thiès to Dakar. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour, depending on traffic.
