From York Island, head west towards the main road connecting to the mainland. Follow signs towards Kenema. Once you reach Kenema, continue towards the Gola Rainforest National Park entrance, which is located at coordinates 7.666337, -10.841529. The drive will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. Ensure to have enough fuel as gas stations may not be readily available along the route.

Catch a local bus or shared taxi from York Island to Kenema. The journey will take about 1 to 1.5 hours. Upon reaching Kenema, you will need to take another shared taxi or a local bus that goes to the Gola Rainforest National Park entrance.
