From East Coast Park, head towards the nearest bus stop. You can catch Bus 36 or 43 from the bus stop. Stay on the bus until you reach 'Bedok MRT Station'. Here, transfer to the East West Line (EWL) towards Pasir Ris and alight at 'Tanah Merah MRT Station'. From there, take the MRT to 'Changi Airport'. Once at Changi Airport, board a ferry to Batam Centre. The ferry terminal is located at 'Changi Ferry Terminal'. After arriving at Batam Centre, you can either walk or take a local taxi to reach Alun Alun Batam Centre, which is located at Jl. Engku Putri.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the bike rental stations in East Coast Park. Cycle towards the East Coast Parkway exit that leads to the city. Follow the signs towards Changi Airport. Once you reach the Changi Ferry Terminal, you can park your bicycle there and board a ferry to Batam Centre. After arriving at Batam Centre, you can walk or take a local taxi to Alun Alun Batam Centre, located at Jl. Engku Putri.
