Walking
From the center of Orchard Road, head towards the junction of Orchard Road and Scotts Road. Walk straight along Orchard Road until you reach the Orchard MRT Station. Once at the station, follow the signs to exit onto Orchard Boulevard. Continue walking down Orchard Boulevard until you reach the intersection with Grange Road. Take a right turn onto Grange Road and walk straight until you reach the Singapore River. At the river, turn left and follow the path along the water. After approximately 10-15 minutes, you will see the Padang on your right, just across the river.

Public Transport
Start at Orchard MRT Station located on Orchard Road. Take the North-South Line (Red Line) towards Marina South Pier. Alight at City Hall MRT Station. From the City Hall MRT, take Exit A to get to the street level. Once you are at street level, head straight towards St. Andrew's Cathedral. Continue walking in the direction of the Padang, which is located just behind the cathedral. It should take you about 10 minutes to walk from the MRT station to the Padang.
