Getting There

Train

From Poprad, head to the Poprad-Tatry railway station. You can walk there from the city center in about 15 minutes. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to 'Štrbské Pleso', which is one of the main access points to Tatra National Park. The train journey takes around 30 minutes, and trains run frequently. After arriving at Štrbské Pleso, follow the signs towards the park entrance, which is a short walk away.
Bus

From the Poprad bus station, which is located near the city center, take a bus to 'Tatranská Lomnica' or 'Štrbské Pleso'. Tickets can be purchased at the station. The bus ride lasts approximately 30-40 minutes depending on the route. Once you arrive at your chosen stop, follow the signs leading to the Tatra National Park entrance.
Walking

If you prefer to walk to Tatra National Park, you can take a scenic route from Poprad. Start at the city center and head to the east, following the signs toward 'Tatranská Lomnica'. The walk is about 15 kilometers and takes approximately 3-4 hours, depending on your pace. You will enjoy views of the surrounding landscapes along the way. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
