If you're driving from Strbske Pleso, head east on the main road (Hlavná ulica) towards Vysoké Tatry. After approximately 3 kilometers, turn left onto the road leading to the Tatranská Štrba area. Continue straight until you reach the parking area near the trailhead for Vyšné Rakytovské pliesko. The coordinates for the parking lot are approximately 49.1264, 20.0246.

To reach Vyšné Rakytovské pliesko via public transportation, start at the Strbske Pleso bus station. Take the bus towards Štrbské Pleso which runs regularly. Once you arrive at the Tatranská Štrba stop, you can either walk or take a taxi to the trailhead. The walk is about 2 kilometers, and it will take you around 30 minutes to reach the starting point of the hiking trail to Vyšné Rakytovské pliesko.
