From the center of Celje, head to the main bus station located at Trg celjskih knezov 1. Take bus number 6 towards 'Stahovica'. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Stahovica' bus stop. From there, walk east on the main road for about 10 minutes until you reach the signs for Velika Planina. Follow the signs to the cable car station which will take you up to Velika Planina.

If you prefer to walk, start from the Celje city center and head north towards the 'Slovenska Cesta'. Continue walking straight until you reach the outskirts of the city. The walk to Stahovica is approximately 7 kilometers and will take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you reach Stahovica, look for the signs leading to Velika Planina.

You can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Celje. Start from the city center and take the main road (Slovenska Cesta) north. Follow the bike paths that lead you toward Stahovica.
