Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Bohinj. Drive to Ukanc, which is located at the western end of Lake Bohinj. Follow the signs for 'Triglav National Park' and 'Ukanč', which will lead you to the car park at the base of the Seven Lakes Valley trailhead. The car park is free, but note that it can fill up quickly during peak times, especially in summer.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Bled or Bohinj to the Ukanc stop. Buses run regularly, but check the local schedule for the latest times. Once you arrive at the Ukanc bus stop, walk towards the lake and follow the signs leading to the Seven Lakes Valley trailhead. This walk is approximately 10-15 minutes.

Once you reach the trailhead, you will begin your hike into the Seven Lakes Valley. The trail is well-marked and starts at the end of the car park. Expect a moderate hike that takes about 3-4 hours one way. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes and carry sufficient water and snacks.
