Car
From Lake Bled, head southeast on Cesta svobode towards the A2 motorway. Merge onto A2 in the direction of Ljubljana. Follow A2 for approximately 35 km and take the exit for Kamnik. After exiting, turn left onto H4 and follow it for about 10 km until you reach Stahovica. Once in Stahovica, look for signs to Velika Planina and follow the road towards the cable car station. There is a parking area near the cable car station where you can leave your car (note that parking may incur a fee).

Public Transportation
From Lake Bled, take a bus to Ljubljana (approximately 1 hour). From the main bus station in Ljubljana, take a bus to Kamnik (about 30 minutes). Once in Kamnik, you can catch a local taxi or a shuttle service to Stahovica. From Stahovica, walk to the Velika Planina cable car station. Be prepared for a short hike from the cable car to reach Koča Bistra - Fairytale. Check the local bus schedules as they may vary, and make sure to have some cash for the bus fare and taxi services.

Once you arrive at the cable car station in Stahovica, purchase your ticket for the cable car ride to Velika Planina. The ride will take approximately 15 minutes. After reaching the top, follow the marked trails to Koča Bistra - Fairytale, which is approximately a 20-minute walk from the cable car station. Ensure you have the correct change for the ticket if you are paying in cash, and check the cable car operating hours before your trip.
