From Savinja, take the direction towards Kamnik. Drive on the H1 highway and follow the signs for Kamnik. After approximately 25 km, take the exit toward Kamnik/Cerklje. Continue on the road until you reach the town of Kamnik. Once in Kamnik, follow the signs for Velika Planina, which will lead you to the base of the mountain. You will need to park your car at the designated parking area near the cable car station, where you can find parking for a fee of around €5 for the day. From the parking area, take the cable car to the Zimski park area.

If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Savinja to Kamnik. Check the local bus schedules, as buses may not run frequently. Once you arrive in Kamnik, you can take a taxi or a local shuttle to the base of Velika Planina. Alternatively, you can walk (approximately 2-3 km) from the bus station to the cable car station. Remember that the cable car ride to Zimski park will cost you around €10 for a round trip.
