From Savinja, take the direction towards Kamnik. Drive on the H1 highway and follow the signs for Kamnik. After approximately 25 km, take the exit toward Kamnik/Cerklje. Continue on the road until you reach the town of Kamnik. Once in Kamnik, follow the signs for Velika Planina, which will lead you to the base of the mountain. You will need to park your car at the designated parking area near the cable car station, where you can find parking for a fee of around €5 for the day. From the parking area, take the cable car to the Zimski park area.
