Walking
If you are starting from the center of Nova Gorica, head towards the main square, Trg Edvarda Kardelja. From there, walk along the main street, Ulica Tolminskih puntarjev, for about 10 minutes until you reach the border with Italy at the pedestrian crossing. After crossing the border, you will be in Gorizia, Italy. Continue straight on Corso Italia, which will lead you to the center of Gorizia. Once you reach Piazza della Vittoria, turn left onto Via Garibaldi. Follow this street until you reach Piazza Patriarcato. The Museo Diocesano e Gallerie del Tiepolo will be located on your right at Piazza Patriarcato, 1.
