Bus
From the center of Nova Gorica, head to the main bus station, which is located at 1. Novembra Street. Look for buses heading to Aquileia. You may need to check the schedule for the next bus to Aquileia, as services may not be frequent. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Aquileia bus station, exit the station and head east on Via Aquileia. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Roma, then turn left. The National Archaeological Museum of Aquileia will be on your left at Via Roma, 1.
Train and Bus
Start by walking to the Nova Gorica train station, located at Kolodvorska Cesta. Take a train towards Gorizia and get off at the Gorizia Centrale station. From there, you can take a local bus to Aquileia. Look for buses that go to Aquileia or nearby towns. The trip will take around 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Aquileia, walk east on Via Aquileia until you reach the intersection with Via Roma, then turn left. The museum will be on your left at Via Roma, 1.
Bicycle
For an adventurous option, consider renting a bicycle in Nova Gorica. Head towards the cycle path that follows the river Soča. Follow the path until you reach the outskirts of Aquileia.
