Walking
From the center of Portorož, head east towards the main road (Obala). Continue walking along Obala until you reach the bus station. At the bus station, take a bus heading to Piran. After a short ride, get off at the Piran bus station. From there, take another bus towards Motovun. Once you arrive at the Motovun bus stop, follow the signs leading to the town center, which is a short walk uphill. The entrance to Motovun and its ancient walls will be clearly visible as you approach.

Rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Portorož. Start your journey by cycling along the coastal path towards Piran. Once you reach Piran, look for the road signs directing you to Motovun. The route will take you through some scenic countryside. Follow the main road that leads up to Motovun. Upon arrival, park your bike in the designated area and enjoy exploring the charming streets and the stunning views from the ancient walls.

Public Transport
At the Portorož bus station, purchase a ticket for a bus heading to Buje, Croatia. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Buje, transfer to another bus that goes directly to Motovun. Ensure you check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary. After arriving in Motovun, you can walk to the town center and enjoy its historic sites and breathtaking views.
