If you are driving, start from Estcourt town center. Head southeast on Allen Street toward Church Street. Continue straight onto the R103, then follow the signs for the R600. After approximately 5 km, turn left onto the gravel road leading to Clouston. Drive for another 2 km, and you will find Clouston Koppie of Remembrance & Battle of Colenso on your right. There is no entry fee to the site.

To reach Clouston Koppie using public transport, take a local taxi or bus from Estcourt to the R600 junction. Ask the driver to let you off at the turn-off for Clouston. From the junction, you will need to walk approximately 2 km down the gravel road to reach the site. Ensure you check the local taxi schedules for return trips.
