If you're traveling by car, you can easily access Marakele National Park from various locations in the Bushveld. From the town of Bela-Bela, head north on the R101 for approximately 50 km. Continue onto the R516 towards Thabazimbi. The park entrance is well signposted, and you'll take a right turn off the R516 onto the R33, which leads directly to the park entrance. Note that there is an entrance fee of approximately R100 per adult for South African citizens and R200 for international visitors.

For those using public transport, your best option is to take a bus from Pretoria to Thabazimbi. Buses run regularly from the Pretoria bus station to Thabazimbi, with the journey taking about 2-3 hours. Upon arriving in Thabazimbi, you will need to arrange for a taxi or a shuttle service to Marakele National Park, which is about 30 km away. The cost for the taxi can vary, but expect to pay around R300-R400 for a one-way trip.
