    From the Cape Town city center, walk to the Cape Town Civic Centre bus station. Take bus number 262 towards the Newlands station. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Kirstenbosch' stop, which is directly outside the entrance to Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden. From there, walk about 2 minutes to the main entrance.

    You can book a taxi or rideshare service like Uber from anywhere in Cape Town. Simply enter 'Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden' as your destination. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. The drop-off point is right at the entrance of the garden.

    Walking (from Newlands station)

    If you arrive at Newlands train station, exit the station and head towards the Newlands Avenue. Turn left and walk down Newlands Avenue until you reach Rhodes Drive. Turn right onto Rhodes Drive, and continue walking for about 15-20 minutes until you see the entrance to Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden on your left.

Follow the cycle lanes towards Newlands, and then take a left onto Rhodes Drive. The garden is located on your left side after approximately 5 km.
