Public Transport - MyCiTi Bus
Begin your journey by heading to the nearest MyCiTi bus station. If you're in the city center, the Civic Centre station is a good starting point. Purchase a MyCiTi bus card at the station and load it with sufficient funds. Take the bus towards the 'Table Mountain Aerial Cableway' route. The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the 'Table Mountain Aerial Cableway' stop. From here, you will see signs leading to the hiking trails.

Walking
Once you arrive at the 'Table Mountain Aerial Cableway' stop, follow the signs towards the Table Mountain hiking trails. The most popular routes are 'Platteklip Gorge' and 'Skeleton Gorge.' The trailhead for Platteklip Gorge is located right at the cableway station. If you choose Skeleton Gorge, head to the left from the cableway station and follow the path until you reach the trailhead. Make sure to take plenty of water and wear appropriate hiking gear.
