If you are traveling by car, head towards the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway. You can park at the lower cable station parking lot. From there, exit the parking area and follow the signs to the 'Contour Path'. You will need to walk along the contour path for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Hely-Hutchinson Reservoir. The path is well-maintained but may have some steep sections, so be prepared for a moderate hike.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transport, take the MyCiTi bus route to the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway station. Once you arrive, exit the bus and walk to the lower cable station. From there, you will need to follow the contour path as described above. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest timings and be aware that fares may apply, so have a MyCiTi card ready for payment.

For those who prefer hiking, if you are already in the park and near the 'Kasteelspoort' trail, you can hike towards Hely-Hutchinson Reservoir. Follow the Kasteelspoort path until you reach the contour path, then turn left and continue for about 1 kilometer to reach the reservoir. This route offers stunning views but involves a steep ascent, so ensure you have appropriate hiking gear and enough water for the trek.
