Getting There

  • Driving

    If you are driving from any location within Table Mountain National Park, first head towards the nearest main road, which is Kloof Nek Road. Follow Kloof Nek Road until you reach the intersection with Tafelberg Road. Continue straight onto Tafelberg Road, which will lead you to the city area. Once you reach the city, turn onto Buitengracht Street, and then take the exit toward the N1 highway. Merge onto the N1 highway and follow the signs for the Cape Town Waterfront. Exit the N1 at the 'Waterfront' exit and follow the signs to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. The Two Oceans Aquarium is located at Dock Rd, Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, Cape Town, 8002. There is a parking fee for the Waterfront, which typically costs around R10 per hour.

    If you prefer public transport, you can take the MyCiTi bus service. From various points in Table Mountain National Park, such as the lower cable station, take the MyCiTi bus to the Civic Centre station. From Civic Centre, transfer to the MyCiTi bus route that goes directly to the V&A Waterfront. The fare is approximately R12-15, depending on your starting point. Once you arrive at the V&A Waterfront, the Two Oceans Aquarium is a short walk from the bus stop, located at Dock Rd.
