Car
If you are driving, start by heading south on the N2 highway from places like Port Edward or Margate. Follow the N2 for approximately 40 kilometers. Look for the R61 exit towards Bizana, and take that exit. Continue on the R61 for about 20 kilometers until you reach the town of Magcakini. Once in Magcakini, follow the signs to Codesa Farm Gomolo Location. The lodge is located on this farm, and you will need to navigate through some rural roads to reach the entrance. Make sure to have a map or GPS device as cell service can be spotty in rural areas.

For public transport, catch a bus or taxi from major hubs like Port Edward or Margate heading towards Bizana. Inform the driver that you’re going to Magcakini. The fare is generally around R30-50. Once you arrive in Magcakini, you may need to hire a local taxi or arrange for a transfer to Codesa Farm Gomolo Location. It is advisable to confirm this in advance as local transport options can be limited.

If you are already in Magcakini and prefer to walk, be prepared for a 30-45 minute walk to the lodge from the town center. Head south towards the rural road signs leading to Codesa Farm. Please ensure to ask locals for directions as certain paths may not be clearly marked.
