Once you reach the intersection with Fort Pulaski Road, turn left and follow the signs to Fort Pulaski National Monument.

If you prefer to walk, start at the Beaufort Waterfront Park. Head east on Bay Street towards the river. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Highway 21. From there, follow the pedestrian path along Highway 21 for about 12 miles. This is a long walk and will take several hours, so be prepared with water and snacks. Once you reach Fort Pulaski Road, turn left to get to the monument.

To reach Fort Pulaski National Monument using public transportation, first take a local bus (if available) from downtown Beaufort to the nearest bus stop along Highway 21.
