Take the DASH bus towards the 'North Charleston' direction. After about 20 minutes, get off at the stop labeled 'Magnolia Plantation.' The plantation will be a short walk from the bus stop.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops near Charleston Waterfront Park. Head south on East Bay Street, then make a right onto Calhoun Street. Continue straight until you reach Ashley Avenue, and turn left. Follow Ashley Avenue until you reach the intersection with Highway 61 (Savannah Highway). Turn right onto Highway 61, and follow the road for about 5 miles. Magnolia Plantation will be on your left. Please note that you should wear a helmet and be cautious of traffic.

For an adventurous option, you can walk to Magnolia Plantation. From Charleston Waterfront Park, head southwest towards East Bay Street. Walk down East Bay Street, then take a left onto Calhoun Street towards the Ashley River. Follow the riverfront until you reach the intersection with Ashley Avenue. Turn right onto Ashley Avenue, then continue until it merges with Highway 61. Follow Highway 61 for approximately 5 miles, and you will reach Magnolia Plantation. Be prepared for a long walk, as this is about a 2-hour journey, and wear comfortable shoes.
