From central Summerville, head to the Summerville Transit Center located at 100 W 2nd North St. Catch the CARTA Route 10 bus towards Mount Pleasant. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you arrive at the Patriots Point stop. From there, walk about 5 minutes to the Cold War Submarine Memorial located at 40 Patriots Point Rd.

If you prefer to bike, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Summerville. Start your ride on N Main St heading northeast. Follow N Main St until you reach the intersection with US-17 N. Continue on US-17 N for about 12 miles, where you will see signs for Patriots Point. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the Cold War Submarine Memorial.

If you are up for a long walk, start at the Summerville Town Hall located at 200 S Main St. Head northeast on Main St towards W 2nd North St. Continue straight for about 5 miles until you reach US-17. Cross the highway and continue on the path towards Patriots Point. It will take approximately 2.5 hours to walk there, so ensure you wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
