Public Bus
To reach Patriots Point Links from downtown Summerville, take the Dorchester County Public Transit Bus (Route 1) towards North Charleston. Board the bus at the nearest stop along Main Street. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the North Charleston Transit Center. From there, transfer to the Charleston Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA) bus (Route 20) heading towards Mount Pleasant. After approximately 25 minutes, get off at the Patriots Point stop, which is just a short walk from the golf course entrance.

Bicycle
If you prefer to bike, start your journey from downtown Summerville. Head east on Main Street towards 2nd Street. Turn left onto 2nd Street and continue until you reach the intersection with US-17. Use the bike lane to travel south on US-17 towards Mount Pleasant. After about 10 miles, take a left onto Patriots Point Road. Follow this road for about a mile, and you will arrive at Patriots Point Links, located on the right.

For those who enjoy walking, you can start from the center of Summerville. Walk south on Main Street towards Dorchester Road. Follow Dorchester Road until you reach US-17. Cross US-17 with caution and continue walking south along Patriots Point Road. It’s approximately a 3-hour walk (about 10 miles), so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated. You will see Patriots Point Links on your right as you approach the end of the road.
