Walking
If you are in downtown Summerville, start at the Summerville Town Hall located at 200 S Main St. Head south on S Main St toward E Richardson Ave for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with E 5th North St. Turn left onto E 5th North St and continue straight for about 0.3 miles. You will come to E 5th South St; turn right here. Follow E 5th South St until you reach the end, then take a left onto N Main St. Walk south on N Main St for about 0.4 miles, and you will see the Summerville Amtrak Station on your right. From there, catch the Amtrak train towards Charleston. Once you arrive at the Charleston train station, exit towards the main street, and catch a local bus or rideshare to 4 Archdale St. The Unitarian Church is just a short walk from the bus stop.

From Summerville, you can take the Dorchester County Public Transit (DCP) bus. Board the Route 10 bus heading towards Charleston. The bus will take you directly to the Charleston area, where you can get off at the stop nearest to the downtown area (for example, King St.). Once you alight, walk south along King St for about 0.5 miles until you reach Broad St. Turn left on Broad St and walk east for 0.3 miles until you reach Archdale St. The Unitarian Church will be at 4 Archdale St on your right.

If you prefer to bike, rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in Summerville. Start at the Summerville Town Square and head south on S Main St. Follow this route for approximately 2 miles until you reach the intersection at E 5th North St. Turn left and continue on this road. After about 1 mile, it will merge into N Main St. Continue until you reach Charleston. Once you reach Charleston, follow signs to downtown and make your way to 4 Archdale St. The bike lanes in Charleston will help you navigate through the city safely.
