Car
If you're driving from Greenville, SC, take I-85 S towards Atlanta. After approximately 30 miles, merge onto I-385 S toward Columbia. Continue on I-385 S for about 40 miles, then merge onto I-26 E towards Charleston. After around 60 miles, take exit 221A for US-17 N toward Georgetown. Continue on US-17 N for about 30 miles until you reach McClellanville. Turn left onto Rutledge Rd, and the Hampton Plantation State Historic Site will be on your right at 1950 Rutledge Rd, McClellanville, SC 29458.
