From the center of Badlands National Park, head northwest on SD-240 W. Continue on SD-240 W for approximately 30 miles until you reach the junction with I-90. Merge onto I-90 W toward Rapid City. After about 50 miles, take exit 61 for SD-79 N. Continue on SD-79 N for about 8 miles until you reach the intersection with E North St. Turn right onto E North St and continue for 2.5 miles. Then, turn left onto Skyline Dr. Dinosaur Park will be on your right at 940 Skyline Dr, Rapid City, SD 57701. There may be parking available near the entrance.

If you're using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Badlands National Park to Rapid City. Check local bus schedules as they may vary. Once you arrive at the Rapid City bus station, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to Dinosaur Park at 940 Skyline Dr, Rapid City, SD 57701. The taxi ride should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Ensure you have cash or a card ready for the taxi fare.

For the more adventurous, consider biking from Badlands to Dinosaur Park. The total distance is about 80 miles, so be prepared for a long ride. Start on SD-240 and follow the same route as vehicles to I-90, then take SD-79 N. Be aware that you’ll be sharing the road with cars, so wear a helmet and be cautious. Bring plenty of water and snacks for the ride. Once you reach Rapid City, continue to Skyline Dr to reach Dinosaur Park.
