Car
If you are driving from the center of Great Plains, head south on SD-11. Continue on SD-11 for approximately 6 miles until you reach the intersection with E 26th St. Turn west onto E 26th St and follow it for about 2 miles. You will then turn left onto S Cliff Ave and continue for roughly 1 mile. The City Of East Sioux Falls Historical Marker will be on your right, just off the shoulder of the road. There is parking available right next to the marker.

For those using public transportation, start by taking the local bus service from Great Plains to the downtown area of Sioux Falls. Once you arrive downtown, transfer to Bus Route 11, which heads towards the south side of Sioux Falls. You will need to disembark at the stop near E 26th St & S Cliff Ave. From there, walk approximately 0.5 miles south on S Cliff Ave until you reach the City Of East Sioux Falls Historical Marker, which will be on your left. Please check the local bus schedules for route availability and fares.

If you prefer cycling, you can take the bike trails that connect Great Plains to Sioux Falls. Follow the bike trail south towards Sioux Falls, then navigate to S Cliff Ave using local bike routes.
