Getting There

• Walking

  From the Mount Rushmore National Memorial entrance, head east on SD-244 E towards the town of Keystone. Continue walking along the sidewalk of SD-244 for about 0.5 miles. You will pass by the Grand View Terrace and the Visitor Center on your left. Keep walking until you reach the junction with US-16. Turn left onto US-16 and follow the road for approximately 1.5 miles, enjoying the scenic views of the Black Hills. After 1.5 miles, look for Presidio Ranch Road on your right. Turn right onto Presidio Ranch Road and Under Canvas Mount Rushmore will be on your left at 24342 Presidio Ranch Rd, Keystone, SD 57751.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Mount Rushmore National Memorial entrance. Head east on SD-244 E towards Keystone. This route is about 2 miles long and is mostly downhill. Once you reach the town of Keystone, continue on the bike path that parallels SD-244. After about 0.5 miles, look for the sign to US-16 and turn left onto the highway. Bicycle along US-16 for about 1.5 miles. Watch for Presidio Ranch Road on your right, and turn onto it. Under Canvas Mount Rushmore will be located on your left at 24342 Presidio Ranch Rd, Keystone, SD 57751.

Board a shuttle heading towards Keystone. Upon arrival in Keystone, you can either walk or take a local taxi service to Under Canvas Mount Rushmore located at 24342 Presidio Ranch Rd, Keystone, SD 57751, which is approximately a 5-minute drive from the shuttle drop-off point.
