If you are traveling by car, start from central Gangneung. Head east on Donghae Expressway (Expressway 65) towards Jumunjin. After approximately 20 minutes, take the exit for Jumunjin. Continue straight on the road for about 5 km until you reach the intersection near Jumun-ri. Turn left onto a smaller road that leads to 소돌해변 바다전망대. Follow the signs, and after about 2 km, you will arrive at the viewpoint area, where you can park your car.

To reach 소돌해변 바다전망대 using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Gangneung Bus Terminal to Jumunjin. Buses to Jumunjin run frequently and the fare is approximately 2,500 KRW. The bus ride will take about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Jumunjin, you can take a local taxi for about 10,000 KRW to get to 소돌해변 바다전망대, which is approximately 5 km away. Be sure to tell the driver your destination.

If you are close to 소돌해변 바다전망대 and prefer to walk, you can access the viewpoint from nearby beaches. Look for signs leading to the viewpoint from 소돌 Beach (소돌해변). The walk will take about 15-20 minutes along the scenic coastal path, providing beautiful views of the ocean.
