If you are driving, start by heading to the nearest expressway entrance. From the city center of Chuncheon, take the Dong Seoul Expressway (Expressway 1) towards Hongcheon. Continue on the expressway for about 30 minutes until you reach the Hongcheon Interchange. Take the exit toward Hongcheon and merge onto National Route 46. Follow the signs for 'Ginkgo Forest' as you approach the area. The exact address is 686-4 Gwang-won-ri, Nae-myeon, Hongcheon-gun, Gangwon-do. There is ample parking available at the forest.

To reach Hongcheon Ginkgo Forest using public transportation, start by taking a bus or train to Hongcheon Station. If you are traveling from Seoul, you can take an express bus from the Dong Seoul Bus Terminal directly to Hongcheon (approximately 1.5 to 2 hours). Once at Hongcheon Station, exit the station and look for local buses heading towards the Ginkgo Forest. Bus number 7 usually services this route, but please check the latest schedule. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Make sure to have some cash ready for the bus fare, which is typically around 1,200 KRW.
