Subway
From Seoul Station, take Line 1 (the Blue Line) towards Incheon. Get off at Jongno 3-ga Station (3 stops). Transfer to Line 5 (the Purple Line) and take the train towards Sangil-dong. Get off at Anguk Station (2 stops). Once at Anguk Station, take Exit 1. Walk straight for about 300 meters until you reach the entrance of Changdeokgung Palace. The Chinese Juniper Tree is located within the palace grounds.

From Dongdaemun Design Plaza, take Bus 7212 from the Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Bus Stop. Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at the Changdeokgung Palace stop.
