If you are driving from within the Gwandong Region, set your GPS to 28 Toegye-ro 34-gil, Jung District, Seoul, which is the address of Namsangol Hanok Village. The village is located approximately 2.5 hours away from Gwandong Region by car. Take the Gyeongbu Expressway (Route 1) towards Seoul. Once you reach Seoul, follow signs for the city center and then take the exit towards Toegye-ro. The village is situated a short distance from the exit, and there is parking available near the entrance. Expect to pay around KRW 2,000 to 3,000 for parking.

Public Transportation (Train)
To reach Namsangol Hanok Village using public transportation, start by taking a train from your nearest station in the Gwandong Region to Seoul Station. This journey typically takes around 2 to 3 hours, depending on your starting point. Once you arrive at Seoul Station, transfer to Line 4 (the light blue line) and take the train towards Dongdaemun. Get off at Myeongdong Station (3 stops). From Myeongdong Station, take Exit 6 and walk approximately 10 minutes to reach Namsangol Hanok Village. Keep in mind that a train ticket will cost around KRW 5,000 to 10,000 depending on the distance.

Public Transportation (Bus)
If you prefer to travel by bus, find a bus terminal in the Gwandong Region that offers routes to Seoul. Look for express buses heading to Seoul’s Express Bus Terminal or Dongseoul Bus Terminal. The journey will take about 2.5 to 3.5 hours. Once you arrive in Seoul, you can take either the subway or a taxi. If you take the subway, from the Express Bus Terminal, transfer to Line 3 (the orange line) to transfer to Line 4 at Dongguk University Station. Get off at Myeongdong Station (2 stops). From there, it's a 10-minute walk to Namsangol Hanok Village. Expect to pay around KRW 10,000 to 15,000 for the bus ticket.
