Getting There

  • Subway

    If you are starting your journey from Seoul Station, take Line 4 (the light blue line) towards Danggogae. After 3 stops, get off at Myeongdong Station. Use Exit 6 to exit the station. Once outside, walk straight for about 300 meters until you reach the intersection with the large road, where you should turn left.

  • Walking

    After turning left at the intersection, continue walking straight for about 500 meters until you see the Cheonggyecheon Stream on your right. You will cross over a small pedestrian bridge. Continue along the stream for another 200 meters, and you will see the entrance to the Seoul 1000 Years Time Capsule on your left after crossing the street.

  • Bus

    If you prefer taking a bus, from Myeongdong Station, walk to the nearest bus stop named 'Myeongdong Station.' Take bus number 421, 7011, or 7016. Get off at the 'Pildong 2(i)-ga' stop. From there, the Seoul 1000 Years Time Capsule is just a 5-minute walk away; head south on Pildong 2(i)-ga and you will find the capsule at 1-177 Pildong 2(i)-ga.
