If you are traveling by car, head towards the Gyeonggi Province area and take the Gyeongbu Expressway (Expressway 1). Exit at the Wonju interchange and follow the signs towards Wonju City. Once in Wonju, continue on National Route 24 until you reach the Munmak-eup area. Look for Bangye-ri and follow local signs directing you to the Bangyeri Ginkgo Tree, located at 1496-1 Bangye-ri, Munmak-eup, Wonju-si, Gangwon-do. The drive typically takes around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. Parking is usually available near the site.

To reach the Bangyeri Ginkgo Tree via public transportation, start by taking a train from any major city in Gyeonggi Province to Wonju Station. Once you arrive at Wonju Station, exit and head to the bus terminal located right next to the train station. From there, take a local bus (Bus No. 2 or a bus heading to Munmak-eup) that will take you towards Munmak-eup. Get off at the Bangye-ri stop.
