Car
From the center of Wonju-si, head east on the Gyeonggang-ro road (Route 56). Follow this road for approximately 25 kilometers. As you approach the outskirts of Panbu-myeon, look for signs directing you to Yeongwon Sanseong Fortress. Turn onto Geumdaeri road and continue for about 3 kilometers. The fortress entrance will be on your left. Parking is available near the entrance.

Start at Wonju Intercity Bus Terminal. Take a bus heading towards 'Panbu-myeon' (check local schedules for exact bus times). The bus ride will take about 40 minutes. Alight at the 'Geumdae-ri' bus stop. From there, it is a 20-minute walk to Yeongwon Sanseong Fortress. Head northeast on Geumdaeri road and follow the signs to the fortress.
