Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, head towards Suwon-si. From the center of Gyeonggi Province, take the Gyeongbu Expressway (Route 1) towards Suwon. Exit at Suwon IC and follow the signs to Suwon City Center. Continue on Jeongjo-ro and you will reach Hwaseong Haenggung located at 825 Jeongjo-ro, Paldal-gu, Suwon-si. Parking is available at the site, but be aware that there may be a parking fee of around 1,000 KRW per hour.

  • Public Transportation - Train

    To reach Hwaseong Haenggung via public transportation, take the Seoul Subway Line 1 (the dark blue line) towards Suwon Station. Once you arrive at Suwon Station, exit the station and head to the bus terminal located outside. Board Bus No. 8 or 13, which will take you directly to Hwaseong Haenggung. The bus fare is approximately 1,300 KRW.
