Getting There

  • Subway

    If you are near Suwon Station, take Line 1 (the dark blue line) towards Incheon. Disembark at Suwon City Hall Station (City Hall is two stops away). From the station, exit via Exit 4. Walk straight ahead for about 600 meters, and you will reach the entrance of Suwon Hwaseong Fortress.

  • Bus

    From Suwon Station, head to the bus stop outside the station. Take Bus 11, 13, 25, or 39. Get off at the Suwon Hwaseong Fortress stop (Hwaseong Fortress is a well-known stop). After descending, follow the signs pointing to the fortress, which is about a 5-minute walk from the bus stop.
