Car
If you are driving, start by getting onto the Honam Expressway (Expressway 25) from your current location in Honam Region. If you are coming from Gwangju, head north on the expressway. After approximately 30 km, take the exit towards Jeonju/Wanju. Continue on the route and follow the signs for Wanju-gun. Once you reach Wanju-gun, set your GPS to '134 Naewol-ri, Bibong-myeon'. The destination will be approximately 10 km from the main road. Note that parking is available at or near the site.

Public Transportation
To reach Honglyeon-Am using public transportation, start by taking a local bus to Wanju-gun from the nearest city center (such as Jeonju or Gwangju). Bus services frequently run to Wanju-gun, and the trip will take about 30-40 minutes depending on your starting point. Once you arrive in Wanju-gun, transfer to a local bus that heads towards Bibong-myeon. You will need to ask the driver for the stop at Naewol-ri. The temple is a short walk from the bus stop. Ensure you have some cash on hand for the bus fare, which typically costs around 1,200 KRW.
