If you are in Incheon, first make your way to the Incheon Station on Line 1 of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway. From there, take a train heading towards Seoul Station. Once you reach Seoul Station, transfer to Line 4 (the light blue line) heading towards Danggogae. After three stops, get off at Gyeongbokgung Station. After exiting the station, follow the signs to Exit 2. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk to Gyeongbokgung Palace. You will see the main entrance as you approach the palace.

From Incheon, head to the nearest bus stop and take the bus heading to Seoul. Buses to various parts of Seoul operate frequently. You can take bus number 6702 or 6015, which will take you to Gwanghwamun Station. Once you arrive at Gwanghwamun Station, exit the bus and walk towards the Gyeongbokgung Palace, which is just a 5-minute walk away. You should see the palace's beautiful gates as you approach.

Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Incheon to Gyeongbokgung Palace. Just tell the driver the destination: 'Gyeongbokgung Palace, Jongno District.' The trip will take about 45 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic. Make sure to have some cash or a transportation card ready for payment.
