Subway
To reach the Statue of King Sejong the Great at 172 Sejong-daero, Sejongno, Jongno District, Seoul, first locate the nearest subway station. If you are in Incheon, head to 'Incheon Station' on Line 1. Board the subway towards 'Seoul Station'. After about 50 minutes, arrive at 'Seoul Station'. Transfer to Line 4 (the Light Blue Line) and take the train towards 'Danggogae'. After 4 stops, get off at 'Gwanghwamun Station'. Exit the station using Exit 7, and you will be on Sejong-daero. Walk straight for about 5 minutes, and you will see the statue in the Gwanghwamun Square.

From Incheon, you can also take a bus to reach the Statue of King Sejong the Great. Head to the 'Incheon Bus Terminal' and take the intercity bus to 'Seoul Express Bus Terminal'. This journey will take about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the terminal, walk to the 'Seoul Subway' and take Line 3 (the Olive Line) towards 'Daehwa'. After 4 stops, transfer to Line 5 (the Purple Line) at 'Yeouido Station' and continue for 2 stops to 'Gwanghwamun Station'. Use Exit 7 to get out, and walk straight for about 5 minutes to reach the statue at Gwanghwamun Square.
