Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the Seoraksan National Park entrance. Drive along the main road until you reach the parking lot at the Seoraksan National Park Visitor Center. The parking fee is approximately 2,000 KRW for a regular vehicle. From the Visitor Center, follow the signs towards the Biseondae trailhead, which is about a 15-minute drive. Make sure to keep an eye out for road signs indicating ‘Biseondae’ as you approach.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Sokcho to Seoraksan National Park. Bus number 7 or 7-1 operates frequently, and the fare is about 1,500 KRW. Once you arrive at the Seoraksan National Park entrance, you may need to walk to the Visitor Center, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. From there, follow the signs to the Biseondae trailhead, which is a short hike of approximately 1.5 kilometers. The trail is well-marked and takes around 30-40 minutes to reach Biseondae.

Once you have parked your car at the Visitor Center or arrived via public transport, you will begin your hike to Biseondae. The trail is approximately 1.5 kilometers long and is well-maintained. Follow the trail signs indicating Biseondae. The hike will take about 30-40 minutes, and the terrain is moderate, suitable for most tourists. Make sure to wear comfortable hiking shoes and bring water, as the trail can be steep in some sections.
