If you're traveling by car, head to the entrance of Seoraksan National Park. From the park entrance, drive towards the Seoraksan National Park Visitor Center. Continue on the main road for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the parking area at the end of the road, near the trailhead for Cheondang Falls. Please note that parking fees may apply, so be prepared for a small cost, typically around 2,000 to 5,000 KRW. After parking, you will need to hike approximately 1.5 kilometers along the designated trail to reach Cheondang Falls.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Sokcho to the Seoraksan National Park entrance. Buses run frequently from various locations in Sokcho, and the fare is typically around 2,000 KRW. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you can either walk or take a local shuttle bus to the Seoraksan National Park Visitor Center. After that, proceed to the parking area where the trailhead begins. The hiking distance to Cheondang Falls from here is about 1.5 kilometers. Ensure you wear proper hiking shoes and carry enough water for the trail.
